I know every coach always says to take no notice of squad numbers, they don't mean much etc but with it being so long since we've seen any rugby any snippets of information seem like gold dust! Things I'll be looking for: Who gets the 3 and 4 shirts out of Minns, Welham and Hardcastle? If Chisholm gets 7 as expected, who gets 6, Nu Brown or Tom Holmes? Does Ferres get a 2nd row number ie 11/12, or a prop number? Same for Harrison. Who gets 9, Jones or Parata? (or Brown/Holmes even?) My wild guess: 1 Hall, 2 and 5 Blackmore and Gale, 3 and 4 Minns and Welham, 6 Brown, 7 Chisholm, 8 and 10 Kopczak and Harrison, 9 Jones,11 and 12 Ferres and Day, 13 Lockwood. Then numbers 14-21 shared between Hardcastle,Holmes, Bussey, Moors, Parata, Cooper, Ferguson and Davies. 22 and 23 Halton and Field 24 and 25 Sweeting and Beckett 26-31 the five new younger lads from Leeds and Cas, plus Sheriff. The Phantom Horseman Posted January 24, 2021 Author Share Posted January 24, 2021 Done 31 to 17 now, and some interesting ones...Fergie 24 but Joe Summers 23...Parata 21 so Jones nominally 1st choice hooker, and Minns 17, so Hardy presumably keeps 3.
