That gets trotted out a lot

We simply don't know who/what other bids have or will be made

but considering we constantly go back to Sky would indicate that either there isn't any other offers on the table or if there are any offers they aren't as good as the one we currently get off sky.

This aged terribly. A few days later and Sky are announcing a Rugby League takeover.

Sadler’s article has aged terribly. His swipes at Sky’s lack of care or effort for Rugby League was playing the victim card at best, completely failing to see this was not isolated and had nothing to do with Rugby League and has been made to look even dafter just a few days later with the announcement of Sky “taking over” a channel for a few days covering Rugby League wall to wall.

Fair point indeed.

Just read that C4 may televise highlights of upcoming RU Lions tour wherever it may be staged. Have they been approached about covering our great sport❓

Wouldn't surprise me if they already think they do by covering "Rugby".

That agent Harrison tweeting them as soon as announced a move to Leeds was massively embarrassing, and showing a complete lack of knowledge.

Having studios or an office in the North doesn't stop them being a national broadcaster, or suddenly learning that RL exists when they hadn't noticed in the 40 years or so.
