London Broncos
Batley Bulldogs - think they might be this year's surprise team

York City Knights - looking to bounce back after Sheffield loss
Featherstone Rovers - should be too strong for Haven
Toulouse Olympique - look potential title contenders if they keep their form
Sheffield Eagles - always a good side, not sure how Newcastle will fare this season
Dewsbury Rams - yes its my team, but think they'll be a difficult team to beat this year

Pretty much expecting everything to go with form or quality.

London to get off the mark against Oldham with a big win.

Batley to have too much for Widnes.

Swinton to sneak a win against York.

Fev easy win against Haven.

Toulouse easy win against Fax.

Sheffield maybe by about 10-16 points against Newcastle.

Dewsbury to beat the Bulls but in a tight one.

Oldham refuse to travel to London because two other clubs have been excused the journey and it's so unfair!

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Everybody tipping a Batley win over Widnes. How times have changed.

Batley at home is never an easy task, and not many away teams I'd put down as a win.

They've started this season brightly.

Agreed, although I was thinking more of the fall of Widnes than the rise of Batley.

You are right though, things are looking very good for Batley this season.

I don't know if I'd predict them winning this one, but I've watched a couple of their full matches and highlights of the rest this year and have been impressed by Batley.

Think the Championship is going to be even more competitive this season. Fev and Toulouse look frontrunners but reckon the rest could all beat each other on a good day.

Totally agree with this, the test will come later in the season when injuries start to pile up, some clubs will be better placed with depth, or have the finance to bring in reinforcements, others may end up doing it tough.

Toulouse are already stretched as their injury list got longer this week.

Building a team of experienced players also means that they are no spring chickens !

I will beak witr tradition and state that London should beat Oldham in their quest for midd table security. Though if I was watching the Halifax agme I would be getting Jack Bibby and the other forwards going going up the middle against the London lightweights.

Jarrod Sammut was a force when London wre in the championship three years ago, but now you are looking at a 34 year old who may still be able to cut it at this level or may end up regretting returning. We shall see.

Incidentally theres a cut price deal for tickets with Rosslyn Park FC (Union). Maybe the rent will be cheaper in the long run....
