Thank you everyone for all your comments and support since our website went live in February. Recently we have made numerous additions to the site, including the following:

Former club secretary Ron Bailey has allowed us to reproduce his original articles from Rugby League Journal magazine which make fascinating reading. Find them here:

https://www.fevarchive.co.uk/the-ron-bailey-collection/

Many more match programmes have been loaded up by Stephen Parker and Colin Wood. Some of them are extremely rare pre World War Two programmes, for example this:

Rovers’ legend Keith Bridges kindly shared with us his extensive medal collection, won during an outstanding career. They can be found here:

We have received many more photographs to share, including this incredible photo from the first ever ‘Northern Union’ club in Featherstone, from 1898.

Steve Nash, through his son Paul, has shared his personal photo collection of the 1974 Challenge Cup final and also the 1974 Great Britain tour. They can be found here:

Went to school with Ron Bailey. Glad he is still around. Featherstone lad that did much for the Rovers. I remember him living opposite the Jubilee fields. Kind Regards Ron. Colin Smith.

Also played scrum half against Don Fox in Featherstone Rovers under 18's when he played for Sharlston. Had a good game against him. He was switched to centre. He then scored the winning try. A great bloke and a good friend .

I'm pretty sure it was 1952.
