Win them all and we are certainly safe.

My belief is we must win 3/4 to cement 5th and if Bradford slip up in a couple then I believe 4th is a good possibility.

Newcastle v london cancelled this week so 2 more points london can't get so can only get to 25 if they win all games left including FEV😀

According to Thunder the game is only postponed POR.

That's true but when are they going to fit it with only four weeks of the regular season left and  according to them Thunder meet the threshold for postponement of at least seven senior players ruled out either as a result of positive Covid-19 tests or as close contacts who are not fully vaccinated.and FEV know only too well with covid players miss more than one game so their game at  dewsbury away could be knocked as well

Do points matter?

yes apparently that's how they work out win%

points awarded divided by points available

FEV's went down when we had two points deducted

So their percentage is unaffected?

Wasn't that just specific to Fev and London? Everyone else seems to be based on Wins/Games Played.

They both give same answer BO but after the points deductions RFL said they're going to use  point/points available  for all teams to stop any stupid conspiracy theories😀

What are they counting as points available? The flash scores table might be slightly out with their calculations then.

number of games played X 2

Plus one each for London and Toulouse, of course.

The Betfred Championship table is being determined on Win Points Percentage in 2021, to allow for the possibility of matches not being played.

This punishment reduces London from 17 points to 15 from 13 matches, and reduces their Win Points Percentage (number of points divided by number of matches, multiplied by 50) from 65.38% to 57.69%. They drop from fifth to sixth in the table, below Batley Bulldogs.

Good of Widnes to do us a favour and hoped Swinton might do the Bulls. Could be a tight finish for 3rd, 4th & 5th

I know we have scored 50 against Astons Eagles before, and they have of late been our Bogey team, but what is our highest score against them ?.

I were there unfortunatley to see the horror show with my own two eyes. 🤣 Its been coming to be fair but we can't use the players missing as an excuse as the performance was just dross. So many basic errors and completion rate that can't have even hit 30% in the second half not pretty but its been a nice run.

Its getting exciting for these positions though and our result still doesnt change much for us in that 3 wins should get us 3rd.  Fax and Bradford both must win next week with Batley not playing and with both likely to lose the following week. Sets up a good game the last week at the Shay.

Fax n Bulls have to play Fev n Toulouse so possible losses dropping % so ours would also go up assuming we beat Haven n Rams, no reason why not after yesterday. Every club has injury and Covid victims, that's the idea of squads and with the ones we've had out we've still turned a team out at Widnes, Swinton and Eagles and even losing to Fev 15 of the team had played the week before so there are really no excuses.

I reckon the Bulls are on a bit of a wobble at present so you should be in with a shout of overtaking them.

As a matter of interest, what are the plans for clubs playing at Toulouse in the play offs, given that there are no longer any restrictions on travel between the countries?
