Ryan Hall grounds a randomly bouncing ball.

Abdull misses again from near touch.

Terrific response from Leigh.

Looked pretty desperate and now they're within two points.

8-6.

Seemingly perfectly good Leigh try ruled out for mysterious obstruction.

Just now, Harry Stottle said:

16 - 12 must be the worst defensive show from both teams I have witnessed

Did you not see Wembley 2015?

Rovers now have more competition points than they acquired in the whole of last season and a genuine Man of Steel contender in Jordan Abdull.

Right edge defence was again a concern but we tightened up considerably second half. Ryan Hall now 10 tries from 8 games and eating up the metres from the back.

Leigh look certain to finish bottom and as is usually the case for bottom teams they are getting more than their share of injuries. It's really hard to see where they are going to get a win from.

Just a right-edge defence away from a play-off side this. Question is can Tony find a solution?

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

This season must be discouraging for Leigh fans. Not sure its doing the players much good either. Is there anywhere Leigh could get a win from?

As a Salford fan, I think I know the answer to that one. Meanwhile, Salford have to take on yet another top 6 side next time out.
