State of Origin I

Recommended Posts

The bookies have New South Wales favourites at around 1/2 with Queensland at 2/1 or thereabouts. The spread is Queensland +6.

Can't pick it, myself. NSW seems the stronger side on paper but Queensland in Townsville seems a tough prospect.

Who's going to win, then?

NSW win i think. Despite home advantage i think QLD are lacking in a few areas, but who knows. its Origin after all.

Good to see Kyle Feldt getting a QLD jumper though.

Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG

Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT

Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG

Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

On the one hand QLD were terribe. On the other, that NSW team beats England playing like that.

That Queensland team still beats the last England/GB team by a long chalk, even playing like that! Hopefully Wane will have them fired up a bit more.

So a boring predictable result then?

What are people getting worked up about?

Optimistically the BBC have already concluded that the 3rd game will be the 'decider'.

How did the commentators keep up the hysteria?
