Yes.

The game these days has far too many marginal decisions for refs to have to make ... and some teams are quite cute with it.

The problem is that the vast majority of these marginal decisions go in favour of certain clubs and against certain other clubs.

Cameras are on the wrong side for that angle and it doesn't have an "a" in it.

Sky showed the try at full speed from head-on.but not in slomo

I'm of the school that sides with the referee as they are trained, experienced, monitored, reviewed, etc. However, and that is not detracting from Hull KRs performance, Salford have had some really bad decisions against them by the ref. What's the point, eh, what's the point?

Skill level from them is desperately poor.

Confidence is shot as well I think, eg. Escare is better than that.

Wouldn't argue with that, some good players making some really poor errors.

Yes, that's a red card nowadays. Probably a lower-end one but late and reckless.

Why? What was illegal about it?

It wasn't late.

It wasn't high.

It wasn't a shoulder.

Awful decision.

Richard Marshall must come under pressure at some point. Salford are a rabble.

As a Fax fan I am not surprised in the slightest. Ive said loads before from the outside we always looked to over perform, lots of people closer to the club didn't have the same belief. I think he's a fantastic assistant but give him control of managing or bringing in players and I don't think its for him.

It was Salford, though.

Can't argue with the result. KR clearly much better than Salford, even without the refs contribution to the outcome.

Is that really a red card?

No attempt to wrap arms, multiplied by being late, makes it an obvious call

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

No we weren’t. I don’t think anybody is suggesting that Rovers didn’t deserve the win. But that one decision, in particular, ruined the game. Same happened apparently in the other game tonight. Once again, it’s the likes of Salford and Wakey who get the vast majority of these awful decisions. I’ve been watching this great game for 54 years, but close to giving it up now when it is clearly so fixed in favour of certain teams.

If the league is fixed in favour of Hull Kingston Rovers someone somewhere has been doing a seriously bad job.

I can promise you if it’s fixed in favour of certain teams, that’s your working hypothesis, then it certainly isn’t fixed in favour of Rovers! We hardly ever get the rub of the green, and the RFL cabal can’t stand us mate
