The comment about not being allowed a mid-season test is concerning if taken literally, though that could well just mean they weren't able to organise one given current circumstances. Has anyone got a better insight that could shed further light on that situation?

I just love the name Foggin-Johnson. Sounds like some 1930s blues singer from the Deep South. 

Anyway, there's a decent backline in that squad. Just not sure about the forwards.

I'd like to see nations like Jamaica, Nigeria and Lebanon given the opportunity to take on the stronger European nations (excluding England) more regularly. Maybe one of the years in a WC cycle could accommodate a tournament involving France, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Italy/Greece plus the 3 nations mentioned above.
