All stars halves are better than England's

Westerman is not an international

Some of the exiled England players in the all stars are playing better than their counterparts in the same position in an England shirt

The flag on the arms of the all stars is a nice touch

Dont think the experiment of Currie at centre has worked

Think that only happened because King pulled out the squad injured.

Most of this team won’t be anywhere near the starting 13 come the start of World Cup. Most on here know that.

This England B team are super league players playing to a super league level.

All this really shows (once again) is how much we lack depth.

There must be 10 first choice players not available for a number of reasons.

I agree. I like that. Has anyone noticed what flag Hastings has? I hope an England one to prove a bit of a point. Maybe that might convince Wane he is committed.

I think Gale’s performance so far maybe more of a factor

I get the sense that some can't wait to denigrate, its as if they have been building up to the game practicing how poor they can comment on England players .... as if they couldn't wait to jump any any poor play...

If this isn't played under international rules and isn't against a test nation I assume those debutants won't get a test cap? That's a shame for some of the guys on debut.

They get a hub cap

Yes and the other problem is we have very little time and opportunities to bring our best available squad together for training camps. It's been especially so this last 12 months but its a perennial problem.

But from what I have seen so far I see no reason why we cannot have our own origin series mate against mate with proper space in the programme.
