I think the idea is that there playing players from other nations, so all the "English" players are representing another nation they're attached to.

Connor for example is representing Trinidad.

I think if I was Hastings I would have done everything I could to have the England flag (for all I know he did) just to make a point. But I appreciate your point. And the representation of a range of nations.

Such a pity Jonny Lomax was ruled out close to the game.  England have lacked the structure and creativity he would have provided on the shift plays.

The only reason I can think of for giving that is he thought it went backwards off Connor. I don't think it did, but I can't think of any other reason.

I really wish Sky would mic up the video ref like the BBC do, so we could hear the reasoning.
