Yes but my point is there might be some people asked to play unfamiliar positions and they won't have had any training sessions in those positions.

Join the club , we had Chris clarkson at scrum half a while ago .

Regardless of who does and doesn’t play tomorrow (assuming it’s on) Fev have only lost one game this season in the cup to Hull, they’ve a real winning mentality which runs throughout the side regardless of if it’s a fringe player or one who’s played every game. It’s not like they’ll have the physio on the bench and have to borrow half a side from Sharlston.

York are in awful form, low on confidence, more halfback partnerships (8? 9?) than you can shake a stick at, fans are getting a bit restless. Hopefully it evens things up and makes for a great game.

Happy days.

Will be interesting to see the 21 man squads for both teams.

BUT the 21 man squad  means nowt  it is for the benefit of the RFL  in the last few weeks FEV have had to put injured players with no chance of playing on the list just to keep the RFL happy

Haha

That's been us Every. Single. Week.

I bet Fev won't have a second row at stand off, and a prop/second row at hooker, with a full back at scrum half and a winger at full back.

What fresh hell is this? Now York are required to have further testing on Saturday morning before the game can go ahead...

Oh no, what if we have to play some players out of position when they haven't trained there and it's really warm?

My, aren't we the funny one? The issue is clearly whether or not further positive tests appear tomorrow, putting the game in doubt - but do keep going with the hilarious sarcasm.

Ok will do.

Can’t fault the attack - 34 Points at most teams would win a trophy 99% of the time. The defence is atrocious though. Sorry, unreal fans, support the lads, York till I die etc. But the Fordy ‘body’s on the line’ defence has somewhat disappeared this year and it’s sad to see.

Mikey Lewis by far the motm.

Ah well....come on Cas!

Never have a better chance to win a final at Wembley, too many experienced players went missing. Congratulations to a depleted Featherstone side who wanted the win way more than some of our players. Massive relegation match next week

Enjoyed the game if not the result.
In that heat big kudos to both sides for putting on a great spectacle and playing for the full 80. Yes defensively both sides were not the best but you can’t knock either side for effort.

Unlucky Knights, there were signs of what we can do with ball in hand if only we could sort that defence out.

Congratulations to Fev on the win.

Our attack seemed a lot better but good lord our defence, especially on the edges really is woeful.

Maybe someone with a more tactical knowledge of the game can help me out here.. But when we, eventually, throw the ball wide, it’s 2 attackers on 4 defenders. But when the opposition get the ball wide it’s 4 attackers on 2 defenders?

Well played both sides entertaining game lots of players playing out of position and the heat will have affected them too.

I think from York’s point of view the game changer was when we levelled the game we messed the restart up and they scored 18 points with out us touching the ball instead of us building momentum.

Next weeks game is massive we need the same effort again as nothing is a given in this league but hopefully we have players coming back and we can get a settled side.
