The Blues Ox Posted July 12, 2021 Share Posted July 12, 2021 I must admit I didnt expect Newcastle to be anywhere near the playoffs this year but they are stringing a lot of good results together now as a few of their rivals faulter. It just shows how quickly things can turn around in this league as when Fax were 34-0 down against Toulouse after 30 minutes if someone told me we had only conceded something like 10 tries in our last 9 games I would have laughed. Batley simply can't afford to lose midweek and then the following week theres some huge games with Batley V Newcastle and the Bulls V Fev and Widnes hoping to keep their chances alive away to the Broncos. Luckily though for Fev this one should be like a training session for them. For the neutral because of both teams form this probably holds about the same interest as watching Warrington V Wigan for the 10th time in a season.
