Well done Saints, they've done what they need to, but jeez this is uninspiring stuff.

Not that they care I'm sure.

Poor end but the game has been much better than I expected.

I mean Saints' performance. Hard graft, but nothing memorable in the actual Rugby stakes.

Makinson has been brilliant taking those short drop outs.

Evalds MotM, but the cup goes to St Helens.

Video relay check on every try, can't the referee keep up with play? Doesn't he have the confidence to award the try?

Ask Saints fans and Robert Hicks about that 😉

Great game.  Well done all.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

saints played kick n clap for the last quarter - ruined the final as it denied cas any chance to play rugby league in that period

I love that it means so much to our players.

I hate it when they say the wait is over for a side that last won it only 13 years ago.

Great match!

Well done saints, best team on the day. What did strike me during this game is what supreme athletes we have in our sport, I applaud them all. To play in such difficult conditions with the heat to play at this tempo is absolutely amazing. We are lucky to have them. What a game.

Saints best team on the day, more big match experience saw them through

Great advert for the sport. [mode:gritted teeth] well done Saints. Better team won [/reset]  Well done Cas for making a game of it but just did not have enough of it when it mattered. Certainly nothing to complain about regarding the officiating decisions. Spot on in my view.

Two excellent cup finals in one day, on FTA television. Let the moaning begin!
