They only had a few matches to review so they really went to town on it. The RFL get worse every season, time for the clubs to act and get rid of the clowns.

hastings banned for what? greenwood banned.

Ha ha ha...

Hastings gets one match for other contrary behaviour.

How surprising that Makinson a player who has had a previous massive 5 game penalty, he gets sending off sufficient.

But Makinsons good fortune is he plays in the Cup Final next week!

What a complete and utter joke.

Makinson didn’t get SOS and both Hastings and Makinson’s incidents were very different. Try reading the minutes it may help you understand rather than post garbage

Was Thompson banned for that tackle that didn’t even get a penalty in the game?

At the time I couldn't believe he wasn’t given a card red or yellow never mind no penalty. It makes me wonder how players who pick up band over 2 games aren't red carded.

Because referees can't see everything and even sometimes make mistakes?

Honestly there's some embarrassing posts on here. Players do stuff wrong, they get banned. Nothing shocking here.

But blaming the players for their actions seems to be a step too far.

It lists the 2 panel members for this week as being Jon Hamer & Adrian Morley

Makinson got a caution for questioning an on-field decision by the Ref

Hastings got his ban for lifting up from the ground an injured player

Not nine players in three games though.

never mentioned all these offences.

They're on a real loser on this one the disciplinary whether carrying on as normal when it isn't or applying sanctions and bans when we're so thin on the ground.

Put the clubs in charge of organising the disciplinary process? That would be entertaining!

Makinson is very talented but to get sending off sufficient for an incident where he wasn't sent off is quite something.

This was on sky with a video ref, the play was stopped. If you think my post is embarrassing you've got a low threshold.

Hastings is a mind reader?

Did he kick him, elbow him, thump him? Was there any intent to hurt?

There is endless faffing around in the tackle.

They have been many dubious tackles ignored or even penalised which then never go to disciplinary.  Their slide  rule criteria are bizarre.  So bazaar that they cannot come up with a coherent rule other than some catch all as a fig leaf to explain their lack of consistency.

The logic for a ban for Makisnon is discipline and respect for the referee.  I do not see that normally though as a ban, or though possibly a yellow.  It's up to the ref.  So Makinsons should not have been before the tribunal, but I see no difference with Hastings.

It is a joke.

Even better when it's a rival player they should get a lot longer ban, but all my teams players are innocent. 🤣

Yes.   Amazingly I phrased it badly.

I cannot believe that a mouthing off to the referee should go all the way up to the disiplinary but then just a caution.  If the ref got so annoyed he could give a yellow, which is plausible, then maybe one can see him at the tribunal.

My point is he was called, but given sufficient.  However if all lifting in the tackle (assuming valid) and all the flops we see was a ban then there should have been 2 dozen at the tribunal.
