It's a worry, he's nailed on for England but I'm absolutely convinced he'll get an injury that will keep him out of the WC. I was born to run a club like this. Johnstone is a great player, but the transfer fee won’t be pennies and I’m sure he’ll be coming on a bigger salary than he’s currently on. Given his injury record, that’s a gamble. Great winger though, would love to see him grace the HJ turf instead of on the sidelines. Unlikely though, and Powell I’m sure could find a gem of his own in the academy. Plus we have Thewlis who - although a full back - is too talented to leave out of the team when Ratchford is fit. Matty Ashton will no doubt be pushing for a wing spot too.
