I will be interested to see what the fee is. A very good winger but his injury record has to be a concern.

It's a worry, he's nailed on for England but I'm absolutely convinced he'll get an injury that will keep him out of the WC.

I was born to run a club like this. Number 1, I do not spook easily, and those who think I do, are wasting their time, with their surprise attacks.

If i were a club boss i would be very wary of going for him.. I rate him highly but his injury record would be far too much of a concern for me..

Matt Shaw and Aaron Bower stated on their Q & A today that each had been told, from a different source, that this was "fake news" (their words).

Without checking, is it logical to assume his Wakey contract is due to be renewed soon?

That's where these rumours usually come from.

If it’s true (and I’m 99% sure it’s not) it’s a risk. Johnstone is a great player, but the transfer fee won’t be pennies and I’m sure he’ll be coming on a bigger salary than he’s currently on. Given his injury record, that’s a gamble.

Great winger though, would love to see him grace the HJ turf instead of on the sidelines. Unlikely though, and Powell I’m sure could find a gem of his own in the academy. Plus we have Thewlis who - although a full back - is too talented to leave out of the team when Ratchford is fit. Matty Ashton will no doubt be pushing for a wing spot too.

He‘s better than Wakey, should have moved on three or four seasons ago imho.

Can't argue with that, hopefully we've not ruined him by insisting he drive the ball in early in the tackle count and inexplicably giving him so little opportunities out wide. He would score a bucket load injury free and playing in a team like Warrington.

Has anyone checked to make sure KP is okay?

Why do people still follow or give any credibility to this account? Even if right occasionally, they produce nonsense to get people following.

Even stranger that so called Wakefield fans then perpetuate the click bait.
