And enough quality players? SL2 teams need to be wary of being shafted in a couple of seasons time by SL1 teams. Good to see the RFL trying to shrink the game even further. Brilliant, that'll solve the games problems. RL must be the only sport that actively wants to shrink. 25 years of SL has seen a fall in professional, amateur and junior players. Eddie Hearn wanted to come in and revitalise the sport like he's done with darts but the game wanted to retain control, so he turned it down.
