4300?

On a Monday night, during a pandemic, with people being asked to take personal responsibility over catching and spreading the virus?

Iirc, this time last year the attendance would have been zero, so it's an infinite increase.

Attendance 4357.

Last time out when fans could attend this fixture drew 7483. Next season will tell us so much about where we are at as a club and as a sport.

It will, but I know fans still not going to games, and some who didn't even renew season tickets because of Covid.

Hopefully, we'll see a bounce back next season

We should have won that a lot more comfortably than it was, we were pretty dominant for the most part but kept inviting them back into it.

But a win's a win, pretty sure we were at full strength compared to "depleted Castleford" 🙂

Don't forget we have an excellent academy to call upon when we have players out who are probably already better than Cas' squad players so i guess in that sense they were 'depleted' 😉

Decent game i thought and we are now beginning to show the influence IW & GB have had on this squad, there is a togetherness, a will to work hard, a passion to win, something we didn't look anything like having when our 'stars' were playing.

It's shut our bedwetting, kneejerking, know nothing fans up for now anyway which is always a bonus.

Was nice to get back to how it was in the ground, standing with mates again and having a laugh and a swally, even if a Monday night in Cas isn't the most attractive proposition, enjoyed that one !!

Has Powell moaned about anything yet or ha he actually accepted the loss?

That is the real bonus.

No doubt they will now be wetting the bed for different reasons.

That is until we lose a couple of games on the trot.

Patience is a virtue...
