Tom Holmes leaves on a permanent basis. No real surprise tbh. Best wishes to him.

A similarly unsurprising announcement that Kyle Trout has left the club. Presumably will sign permanently with Dewsbury. Didn't make much impact in his couple of early-season outings and clearly wasn't in Mac's plans so sensible to let him move on.

Agreed. I think we're likely to see far more turnover in the playing roster than over recent seasons during the year as we try to maximise make incremental improvements whilst making the most of our limited finances.

I cant fault which players we have offloaded recently and expect hall and maybe a couple of old forwards to be got rid off hopefully making way for some decent forrads to come in. Hall is a great championship player but seems reluctant in defence at times.

Hall is one of our biggest attacking threats. If the issue is with his defense move him to the wing when Hardcastle is back and drop Gale.

Many young fans look up to Hall has he comes across as the ultimate professional on and off the field. He should be an ambassador to the club not driven away. Obviously the whole business is clouded in rumour and nobody seems to know what's gone off. To me the coach/ manager should be the bigger person in trying to resolve matters. If you want Super League you have to use your best players not upset them because by upsetting one player usually amounts to upsetting others. As a side note I think the late great Peter Fox would have nipped this in the bud.

I believe this may be the plan. 14 teams in SL 2023 but then 10 teams in SL 1 2024 and 10 in SL 2. tough for Leigh and Fev as almost guarantees relegation to SL 2 for 2024.

Keeping Toulouse in the top flight makes sense. We need France to get stronger for the good of the wider game, not least so that we've a genuine international to play mid season instead of this all stars nonsense.

Could it be that there's a French TV deal coming down the track that relies on TOXIII being in SL? That's the only way I can see the zombie clubs in SL agreeing to split the pie 14 ways.

The only other option would be for both promoted teams not to receive any or reduced TV money.
