A disappointing result but it seemed set in stone once the lack of Prior, alongside Oledzki, became apparent.

Even though Gale has been very patchy recently, and despite the best efforts of Rob Lui, Leeds lacked a creative spark.

Cas were quite cynical with the volume of petty penalties and sixes again they were willing to concede - especially on the first tackle - but were clearly the better and fresher side.

Still, Leeds are still pretty likely to be in the play offs so Agar will be hopefully aiming to get a strong team back out by then.

Loiners strike 1st in the 2nd half, Handley in at the corner, converted.

Loiners  12-14 Cas

Probably the only pass he got off his centre Newman... have to say for all the hype he is a centre that doesn't like to pass... he would rather come back inside... practically every time..

I doubt Leeds will make the top 6, they just arent good enough

Has anyone checked on SKS as he seems to have gone missing since his form team lost last night to their small town neighbours.

Probably still trying to find a calculator that gets them in the top 4

They are plenty good enough, and with the remaining fixture list have every chance, indeed I'd say likelihood of making it. Without the write-off of the first third of the season they would have made it rather more comfortably.

It is just part of the whole, perhaps there should be some ruling that says Leeds were not up to the oche in some games so let them replay them and have another go but only when every player is fit healthy and available, it's just not fair is it that a club as big and wealthy as Leeds are not in the top 2.

It’s really unfortunate that Leeds are the only club in Superleague that has suffered injuries & a spell of poor form and it’s only right given that placing dare decided by win % that they are allowed to disregard those early poor results 😂

If you want to be petty at least Leeds played those games and lost them, taking more injuries in the process. Not something we have seen across the board 👀👀👀

Leeds' lack of clinical finishing really stuffed us yesterday. Really really poor last tackle options meant we were totally unable to take advantage of the lot of pressure we had built.

Cas were a bit cynical at times but considering the amount of defending they had to do that is unsurprising.

Missing Prior, Oledski and Mellor on top of Gale wasn't great. Leadership and go forward was in scant supply on the pitch. Myler and Leeming had good games though.

Cameron Smith once again with a stellar vindication of my opinion of his ability...
