What a cracking game, particularly compared to the rubbish we were served up last night

Fabulous game…

still loads of people on Facebook saying the game’s rubbish, as I keep saying Some RL fans seemingly want the game to die.

I agree.

We need to get back in the grounds and support in full our great sport

My plan today

1. Gym AM

2. Activity with kids (park)

3. Cook late lunch for family while avoiding Hull derby score

4.Huge clean up of house and chores while avoiding score

5. 6pm - sit down with beers and snacks for the highlight of my weekend... watch the game as live whilst rest of family watch a movie upstairs

It DIDN'T tape!!!!!!!!! The **** didn't ******** tape!!!

So I came here hoping to hear I  missed a dreadful one sided bore fest.... but oh no! You lot all write....

"Best game of the season"

"What a belter"

"Nail-biting and I just didn't want it to end"

You are all b******s and so are SKY

Fantastic atmosphere in the ground, and as people have already said, credit to both teams and especially to Jordan Lane with a great effort at the end.

As we say in Yorkshire.."That'll do!"

I'll hold up my hands and admit that Hull deserved to win even though Rovers were so close to pinching it at the end.

The entertainment value was top notch and if SKY want to know how to improve the TV product...easy. Show less of Wigan and more of Hull Kingston Rovers.

Usually derbies are decided by who wants it more and Hull's season depended on this game. I think it will have taken a lot out of them though and expect Cas to turn them over on Thursday.

Rovers have a lot of bodies missing but hoping we can find enough to beat Wakefield also on Thursday.

Abdull would have made all the difference today we can't get him back soon enough.

As would Chris Satae and Josh Griffin but lets forget them as it doesn't fit your narrative.

Abdull is a man of steel contender and dictates the way Rovers play. His absence was more important than that of Quinlan, Ryan, Hadley, Minchella, Lewis and SKD playing on one leg added together.

Satae and Griffin are good players but don't change the way Hull play they just add more of the same.

Hey you deserved to win as I said.  Rovers still had 3 tackles and 25 seconds left when Lane charged down the DG. If we had driven to the sticks we would probably took it to golden point.

We didn't and we move on to Thursday.

I'm not sure about that after the 1st half drop goal miss!

Good point Rovers do seem to struggle with DG's. But we should have remained more composed all the same. Hull were on their last legs. Drive to the sticks make the DG easier or give it to Albert Vete and win it with a try.

There was no need to attempt a DG with  3tackles left and 25 seconds. And BTW....Lane was offside at the PTB so Rovers should have been given a simple penalty goal to win the game.

Yeah, we needed to play with more composure throughout. Hopefully Coote can kick a DG!
