Mahe Fonua relegated to 18th man for disciplinary reasons, summat to do with breaking Covid protocols I think.

Sky Sports Jenna Brooks to Jake Connor regarding England selection : "Shaun Wane has said that he's spoken to you about why you were left out, he's also said he's told you what you needed to do more of, I'm interested, what do you need to do more of and did you do it tonight?"

Jake Connor : "I don't know, to be honest I haven't spoken to him."

Agree, Rovers with half a team missing - and all in key positions - will struggle even against Hull I think

Their cynical manipulation of the COVID protocols has been impressive too. But then it is their Cup Final tomorrow eh, bless ‘em 🤣🤣🤣🤣

In all seriousness what makes this game exciting is that it's neither teams cup final. And what I mean by that is that for the first time in a long time both teams have genuine aspirations of perhaps of going deep in the playoffs. This game is very important in the playoff race, Hull probably can't afford to lose for that reason. But both sides are looking beyond this game and it's exciting to be having a Derby between 2 good teams for a change.

Looks great on tv. Big crowd, great atmosphere.  Well done to the city of Hull.

"Jake the Snake doesn't get the length he is looking for". Not sure I am comfortable with the direction this is going.
