What's even worse is that Roby and Lomax, Saints' best players, have been quiet by their standards tonight.

Lam can't survive this surely. To not score a try at home is bad, to not even look close to scoring is is unacceptable.  I honestly can't remember a single decent try scoring chance Wigan have created.

He should, but Wigan routinely push refs to the nth degree.

A bit of a thumping that. Wigan have plenty of aggression. But Saints have just schooled them there in how to play with controlled aggression (less Bentley’s petulant kick). Utterly dominate in defence. Still a bit rusty in attack. But still far too good. Excellent stuff.
