Going away to the Lakes and taking in Widnes v Whitehaven. So predicting a Widnes loss 😂

Top bit of fixture scheduling that - lake district on a bank holiday weekend 👌

I'm waiting a day or two to see which games get called off first.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Dewsbury Rams v Newcastle Thunder    Tight game expected but going for Dewsbury by 4.
Halifax Panthers v Swinton Lions    This will be a lot tighter than people predict. Fax by 8.
London Broncos v Sheffield Eagles    I think Eagles give London a game but London to have too much. London by 16.
Oldham v Featherstone Rovers    Fev by 26.
Whitehaven v Widnes Vikings    Haven to just sneak it at home after a rocket from last week. Haven by 4.
York City Knights v Bradford Bulls   Tough one to predict now this but Bradford need to win and should do that. Bradford by 10.

Knights capacity is now 4,000 so should be a great atmosphere

I was there yesterday.  Looks a lovely ground.

Had a meal at the Brazilian restaurant next to the ground.

Not often you can say you’ve had one of those.....😉

Plenty go for a Brazilian, it appeals to the core RL target demographic.

Just hope York get a sellout really, to further show what they have to offer to the game.

Most of hospitality already sold out.

If you are coming by car the Vangarde car park opposite the stadium has a two hour parking restriction on Sundays....BUT if you take your ticket to the Vangarde office next door to Prezzo restaurant they will upgrade your ticket to a maximum of six hours so plenty of time for some scran/beer before/after the game.

The A64 could be congested badly (normally is on a Bank Holiday) at the turn off so anyone going to the match needs to check traffic reports.

The York Stadium Management Company Ticket Office booths at the back of the North and/or West Stands will be open tomorrow from 11am all the way until kick-off to purchase tickets for our double-header!

Against all the odds. Yeds!

Toulouse turned the ball over whilst in possession 18 times last week. We'll find out today how much that was due to Oldham defensive pressure and how much down to Toulouse having an off day, though Fev have had one or two days like that in terms of losing the ball themselves.

And Spence to come on and score the winning try!? 😄

Could easily be 40 nil Widnes are very poor in the 1st half.

Couldn't name a full 17 man squad and a couple playing with minor injuries, rather different line-up to the team that beat Haven at home (twice, I guess, but Haven didn't exactly name a full squad for one of those games).
