Broncos v Knights

Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

Preview:

Brisbane have had another poor season with things not going to plan for new head coach Kevin Walters though they have avoided a second successive wooden spoon. They will finish at the wrong end of the ladder once again but there is some light at the end of the tunnel with the club hoping their recruitment for next year can help them turn the tide. They can also lay down a marker here for next year by prevailing in their final game of this season.

They have though lost their last four matches against Newcastle. The Knights also come into this on the back of a five-game winning streak. Do you think they can make it six here?

In our forum tipping competition for the round, 9/13 have predicted a Newcastle victory.

North Qld Cowboys v Manly Sea Eagles

Townsville, Qld

Preview:

Cowboys will look to finish a disappointing campaign on a high but they face a difficult task having won just one of their last 11 matches.
That success did come last time out but this is a much tougher challenge as they take on top four hopefuls Manly Sea Eagles.

With six wins in their last seven as well as three successive wins against the Cowboys, the Sea Eagles look capable of earning the win they need to secure fourth place and it would be a surprise if they were not comfortable victors  in this one wouldn’t it?

All 13 entrants to our forum NRL tipping competition have gone for Manly to win.

Souths v Dragons

Sunshine Coast

Preview:

South Sydney Rabbitohs will hope the loss of Latrell Mitchell doesn’t come back to haunt them after he was banned for the rest of the season following his challenge on Sydney Roosters’ Joey Manu last week. That was a controversial moment in an otherwise outing in which they scored 54 points against their rivals.
They will head into the finals on the back of this clash with St. George Illawarra Dragons in which they will look to win for the 12th time in 13 matches but they have named an under-strength side for this clash.

However, the Dragons have lost seven in a row and their lack of confidence could prevent them from coming out on top here with the Rabbits able to make it seven successive victories over their opponents.
9/13 forum tipsters believe Souths will win this one.

What do you reckon?
