Well that was awful and effectively ends our season as we can't get above Hull FC now.  The late withdrawals of Pitts and Westerman, then compounded by losing Kershaw, really hurt.  Well played Leigh though.

Season can only get worse now if James Child is given the whistle for that final game although I do expect him to be stood down for a week following his game changing blunder with the SKD knock on.  When does he retire btw?

Well done to Leigh Centurions, a win I actually predicted on the vote on this thread poll. They’re finally looking like a Super League club.

6 chances went begging in that second half for wakey. 3 try’s chalked off and 3 length of the field breaks where the wrong options or executions were played. 
 

There were a few other breakaways in first half by trin that ended in a forward pass and a knock on over the line too. 
 

Trinity probably should have had a healthy win but for better execution and a better attitude which Leigh ultimately had.

 

leigh really toughed that one out but that was a terrible 2nd half from the trinity.

And just to rub some salt into the wound , we scored of a massive forward pass

But to tell the truth we've played better than that and lost , we just finally got a bit of the ' rub ' , something we haven't really had all year from day one , or indeed the lest time we graced SL , which is why I am amazed we managed to win a SL game with Mr Hicks on the whistle 

Not that it makes a blind bit of difference , maybe that's why
