Championship Final

If we get to the Final wouldn't it have been great to have the match as a curtain raiser at Old Traffolrd instead of playing it at Toulouse? If SL final is not at the top clubs venue then ours shouldn't be either. All part of RL scheme to get Toulouse into SL and enhance the French connection.

If Haven  beat Fax and win in Toulouse providing we win our play off game against Batley or Bradford Fev would be at home to Whitehaven in the Final.Would you want the game at Old Trafford or a nearly full Post office Road.Toulouse will deserve to be in S.L. if they remain unbeaten and win the Final they would be there on merit.

Colin you've got  to remember when sky got SL the challenge cup final was the biggest game in the world and sky had nowt to do with it and for the fist two seasons team finishing top were crowned champions but that not good enough for sky so they brought in grand final to  crown champions in 98 so they could say look at us  look at us we'ave got the biggest game now  since then it's been stand alone full of hype and BS so no way  would  they let FEV  by beating TO on grand final day take all the headlines  from THE GRAND FINAL

...... With a full complement of players.  I don't buy into this fairness ###### at all.  Try explaining our league table to people outside the RL circle. They look at you gone out.

Aye, when you go home from a game you've got to get a slide rule and then ask a nine year old kid whether you've moved up the league or not🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Toulouse are bottlers. You have stuffed them in France before and you can stuff them in France again!

You deserve a crack in SL and us Leythers can finally consolidate and keep Toulouse in the Championship the following year too! 👍Good luck

Just printing this off and putting it on my wall.  A Leigh fan giving us some credit.  Wonders never cease....

Personally I think the Grand Final should be at a neutral venue, but the clubs agreed to it being at the highest ranked team and therefore that's what should happen.

Game was offered to be played a Catalans 🤔🤔

And fev didn't want it there either🤔🤣😜

It might be at Post Office Road against Whitehaven yet Coolie😃😃😃😃😃😃

How about this for irony

Batley beat Bradford

Whitehaven beat Halifax

And in the final you play Batley

You've played them 3 times this season winning all of them

But in the final you lose

That would be hard to take for both of us

🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣

Whoever wins ON the pitch in the final will deserve it. That's the way it should have always been😃

I like the top 6 play offs .It  rewards the top two by giving them a week off then all being well the best two teams will end up in the final by their efforts on the pitch. With a division of 12/14 teams most will have something to play for.I think the bottom team should be relegated and the next to bottom play off with the runner up in the division below on a neutral ground.

We're not quite grasping this are we.  Having a full squad of fresh players v a busted team where even the loan players brought in to replace other busted players are busted.  Only thing Tolouse have to worry about is not cutting their toe nails tooo short!

Could work the other way for them. They're not exactly battle hardened as a unit and they've not really been tested, even by their closest rival. We were pretty awful when we played them.

Remember Toronto blasting their way through the league to then choke when facing a fairly ordinary London team in the mpg?

Oh dear, still not got the hang of this play off stuff have you? Although as a Dewsbury fan it's not surprising.....

So what happens if its a draw and the clubs cannot be separated after extra time and golden point??

Would there be a replay??

Don't think so because someone would score eventually as they'd play till one scores.

Its almost impossible for Toulouse to pick up injuries when they do play - given that  nobody bothers tackling them.  Oldham gave them a game a few weeks back and they picked up some knocks......
