I believe they're in France Craig.

Guessed they would be offline so stepped in. I try to leave club boards to club admins but this troll had to be escorted off the premises.

Toulouse 1st try was fine.  2nd he lost control.  Not even debatable.  Ferres in the corner fine.  Anyone who expected anything other than these ###### decisions hasnt been watching us long enough.  (ffs even Phil Clarke 'disallowed' 2 of them). Yes we bottled it in the first halt, we were rubbish,  and overall you cant argue about the result but im just thankful that those decisions didnt (statistically speaking at least) affect the result.  The sooner we accept this as being the closest we get to SL the better.  Its not the despair its the hope i cant handle.........

There is nothing in the laws of the game about 'control' in the act of scoring a try. As I've said elsewhere if it had gone up as no try it would have likely been disallowed.

Hard luck Fev, i had you down for a win, had a couple of bets on for a Fev win.

Everything stacked against you guys, travelling etc. but you did yourself proud.

Dust off and wait for another exciting season next year.

All the best.

That's true Les but you would been better off asking stevie wonder if the ball was grounded than robert remember York at wembley🤣

From at least one video angle there was no clear proof that his hand hadn't remained in contact with the ball until it touched the ground. Therefore the video ref goes by the on field decision. Tries like that are given almost every week in SL.

The fact that none of us on here would have given it is irrelevant as we're a tad biased.

As I said on Facebook last night, I'm just surprised Hicksy hasn't been blamed for coops not getting his passport back in time.

Beaten by a better team. Pontificate as much as we like, but those are facts that really aren't open to debate.

Good performance from TO, Casty and Hansen were immense and Jussaume worthy MOM.

Fev simply outplayed in the first forty, Toulouse didn’t bottle it second half.

Casty and Hansen were the difference. Fev were allowed to get back into the game when they were rotated off.

Shame they can't convince Casty to go again next year.

If those first two tries that Toulouse scored had been scored by Fev I would have wanted them to be given. No complaints here best team won. Let's have a covid free season next year cos with the likes of Leigh entering the fray and having three Cumbrian teams in the mix. They are  not everyone's cup of tea but I want the scrums bringing back if it's only to give players time for a breather and keep some of these cricket scores down.

Here's my take on it fwiw.

I've resisted doing predictions, I didn't ever believe for one minute that we would get promoted this year, Robin knows my thoughts on that.

I don't believe in conspiracies but we all know who the RFL wanted to win.  The talk on Murdoch TV over the last two weeks or so has been about the 'French Derby' in the SL.

But let's not kid ourselves last night we were well beaten.

The problems started from us losing possession on the 2nd tackle after being up field from a penalty. They scored and were on the front foot for the rest of the first half.

The try was a line call, we weren't, rightly or wrongly  get the 50 50s last night. I'm thinking the 2nd try and Walker's 'knock on' also.

Our first try from 'Ferres' would have been disallowed had Robert Hicks taken it upstairs. Davies clearly obstructed their full back Kheirallah in paving a pathway for Ferres to go down. The 2nd time Ferres went over though I couldn't see what was wrong, Walker's strip was legal and if Welham did knock on he was facing his own posts.

That said they were the only contentious moments.

Ferres was the best of the Rovers for me, last night but he got embroiled in their shhh hit housery and was lucky not to get 10 mins.

The most disappointing was Chisholm and Brown , apart from the 40/20 and a bit of a forray by Dane there was nothing.

His kicking game on their line was poor, what should be remembered is that 2 years ago the in goal areas in that other stadium were huge the ones that were in play last night were miniscule. A lesson well learnt by the French.

Disappointing but the best team won and no doubt will be the best team to survive in SL given the backing and desire to have a 2nd French club at the top table.

People have said onwards to next year. The division will be more competitive next year with a ramped up Newcastle, York, Batley,  us and Fax all being very close.

Yes the kicking game was poor no pressure on their line . For me Holmes should have played and we would have had some variation in our kicking.

The player who gets left out is always popular afterwards when the team gets beaten though isn't he? If we'd played Holmes instead of Chisholm or Brown (or Parata) we'd have still been well beaten and people would be screaming about the selection.

Really good summing up for me.  In addition I was expecting more domination from Craig Hall who went missing for me. Alex Walker is better than what we saw too.

Fine so long as the ball is Fed CORRECTLY.

Unlucky Fev. The first 20 did you and that dropped ball for the Toulouse try should not have been given, irrespective of what the ref thought.

I felt sorry for your outside backs who looked sharp, but your half backs let you down I feel. The Toulouse front row did the damage whilst I must say not really being outstanding.

All the best and look forward to the battles with Leigh next year. Toulouse will finish SL rock bottom with that side, so they need to spend and quick. It's probably the worst ever time to get promoted.
