Presumably for the same reason that Fev, Leigh etc. have done - to get access to some better players. Are there any current Championship clubs that haven't received players through a dual-registration deal at some point? I can't think of any. There's a lot of super league/top end championship experience in Jarrud Sammut, Josh Wood, Adam Walne, Jordan Walne, Gary Wheeler, Ryan Shaw, Hakim Miloudi, Sam Brooks, Danny Langtree. Mix that with decent local players it looks a strong squad. Think injuries will depend on where they finish. The squad stays fully fit I'd give them a chance of play offs, if the squad gets decimated with injuries they could be in the relegation mix. 100% Luke Cresswell will be up there with the best fullbacks in the League then add the flying pace of wingers Shane Toal & Tee Ritson The Pack they have the experienced Forster & Stack ontop of the talent above already named & young local talents Charlie Emslie & Tom Hopkins The squad depth is very good also with Dec Hulme, Danny Morrow, Brad Crellin, Nathan Mossop, Jake Carter & Johnston Don't forget the experienced Jaimie Dallimore unless he's moved on????? These lads stay fit & get going early they could be tough to beat 1

Not officially ‘retired’ but has personal circumstances that mean he won’t be able to commit to his contract. Very honourable of him and still working with the club. Would love to see the Cumbrian sides go well.

Think you're right about Luis Roberts - looked very good for Swinton last year and I would expect him to be around the top of the try-scorers charts for the season if he gets to play enough games. A public share issue carries a lot of legal obligations which few clubs are able to comply with. 1 "We'll sell you a seat .... but you'll only need the edge of it!"
