The RFL are to bring back scrums, alter the ball steal and injured players must leave the field if injured. For me the most interesting rule change is about injured players. which should stop players going down pretending to be injured to buy time and energy.

Especially when defending on their own try line to get the defence sorted.

Going to be difficult to police. If a player goes down with head/neck injuries, he will have to be assessed while down. Moving him with a serious neck injury could be catastrophic. It's still there to be milked

TBH it'll take time enough for the defence to set to get a player off the field no matter what the injury

This will always be a problem. People say referees should make them get up. It only takes one genuine injury made worse by an insistent referee for there to be a whole world of damage.

Yup. We all remember the fake blood in union. Taking the Pss with injuries has always gone on but it does appear much more cynical now.

We can all urge the ref to "gerrim off the bloody field"..... but exactly how you say, it only takes one wrong call and a player could have life changing injuries.

That will be difficult to police
