Our squad isn't finished, there are signings to come and if we see our problem areas then I guarantee so do the coaches. Unfortunately it isn't as easy as knowing we need a big aggressive prop then just hey presto, here's one I had hidden up my sleeve all along. But I wouldn’t swap it for anything , it’s gonna be a far better watch and seeing some teams which are basically becoming SL2 teams already . But stripping it down we don’t have to match those teams , they are but they’re not in our league if you know what I mean . We need to strengthen to compete with a group of teams that may be in the bottom segment and try to keep our head above water . We’ll see what shape we’re in when we start . What I mean is the standard in league 1 was poor last year only town barrow and donny had a dig town lost some games in a very poor league and got promoted now I’m not having a dig here at all I’m a Cumbrian rugby fan and a massive haven fan I actually want town to do well and stay in the championship I’m just saying it’s a huge step up from last year and you have to be on the ball every week otherwise you get flogged I’m looking forward to seeing you get some players in the coming weeks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Everyone knows it's a better league that naturally comes with it being the league above and until we announce our full squad how does anyone know how we'll do? You will see this as a dig at haven but it's not, but the standard in the bottom half of the championship "last season" IMHO was also poor. It was nowhere near as tough in the bottom half as it usually is. It's no coincidence we were in the height if a pandemic. The championship will be tougher this season coming.
