Good to see Hemel Stags renting out there pitch to a football team during the off season. Nice a see a RL club making money off another sport for a change with all the secondary spend bar etc, any other clubs diversifying.

We've been renting ours out for training for the last 5 years to Thorne Colliery AFC, they have now had new floodlights installed so that little earner will stop now.

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.

Training barns , gym facilities, 3 and 4 g pitches have long been a source of revenue , even caravan pitches  in our prettier outlets. Morris dancing , yoga classes and so on are de rigueur. We are Community after all  ( with most of our grants based on multiple use ) but there is no reason why such activities cannot benefit the rugby sections financially.

Good to see  Hemel taking a well trodden route........

It's  a shame that some of these so called professional clubs, dont try to produce any income away from match days. It's about  thinking outside the box.

Totally agree but they don't always have our facilities.

Saddleworth Rangers for instance  in the NCL  make a tidy weekly sum from car parking fees off  sometimes ' posh '  Manchester commuters living on the Moors.....
