Newcastle Thunder announce new signings

Recommended Posts

There's a lot of teams recruiting very well to be fair. It's going to be a very competitive league next season.

Given we still look to have a number of announcements to come at Thunder I really don't know what to expect from us but the noise coming out of the club is uplifting. Think we might take a bit of time to gel in the early fixtures though.

I think it will be a better competition than super league

Think newcastle will be in the top half of the table

With lower funding for super league clubs, championship clubs are now attracting far better players as a decent player could earn £35,000 from his job and £35,000 from his championship team

Martin offiahs commebts about the supporters earning more than the players is a harsh reality and we are in dire need of investment, maybe frombtye NRL who could afford to purchase the whole of our sport if they wanted

Can see big crows flocking to the Championship next year.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Alex Foster, Thomas Minns, Craig Mullen, Brad Day all announced as signing for Newcastle.

Local player Jake Anderson also confirmed.

Some decent signings but how close to competing for SL will they be?

Do they offer anything around the rook area ?

Gideon Boafo signed from the Broncos. He wanted to stay in a full time environment. Very promising player and a loss for the Broncos

Always looked like a speedboat with no driver to me. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Lucky for him there are still full time environments available in the lower tiers.
