Doubt they'll be a pushover at home either.
OMEGA
They haven’t played any warm ups and have only had enough players to do the basics so far. It’ll be a massive learning curve for the first few games at least
Tubby
Weak tackling letting Cornwall down so far, but with the players they’re starting with, it was always going to be difficult until they get up to speed. Two or three more seasoned professionals would stiffen them up considerably.

Eddie
Didn’t see the game, but that seems a fairly respectable start, especially with no practice matches and playing away against strong opposition. Edited April 2, 2022 by Eddie

It was a game of three halves… Crusaders came out all guns blazing and it looked like a rout was on the books, Cornwall rallied and put some points on the board over 25 minutes or so. They then seemed to tire and Crusaders out a lot of points on in the last 10-15 minutes. with a good coach, they’ve plenty to build on. For a brand new team, built from scratch, I thought they did really well for their first game.
tiffers
After a positive start yesterday evening... BBC Spotlight (local news for those not in the SW) quoted over 1k tickets sold for next weekend in the segment ahead of the game at NWC. Looks like we should get a very good gate next weekend with over a week of sales to add to that. It sure looks like a party in Penryn next week. Largest attendance in L1 next weekend you'd expect... 14

The benefits of having someone who is positive and promotes the game. Ok they lost by 40 but Crus are going to be a playoff, maybe top 2 team. Over a 1000, thats awesome. If they settle at around half that this season shows market is there. Fact it is already a good crowd will encourage others and as perez said last minute squad. Next year If they get a few wins this season and crowds hold up they will be playoffs. Another positive.

Toby Chopra
Dual reg deal with Bradford. Could be a game changer if Bulls actually use it. But how would it work? Most Bulls players are part time, so how can they train in Cornwall? https://cornwallrlfc.co.uk/news/cornwall-agree-dual-registration-with-bradford-bulls/ Edited April 9, 2022 by Toby Chopra

Not sure it will make a huge difference bar having a few more bodies.
