Unlike the people watching the SLGF, some fans had a genuine right to be a bit narked today.

Struggling to see how that is out, even with the new law. She’d completed her delivery stride and stopped, and basically tricked the batter. Thought it would be a dead ball. And isn’t there a law about a fielder tricking the batter?

The umpire didn't call dead ball in time and the playing conditions agreed by both teams allowed for a dismissal like that.

England can moan all they like. It's in the rules and it's out.

Should make it tasty when they next play anyway.

The way the weather forecasts look, and the way the matches are going: Kent are definitely safe, and Yorkshire will be leapfrogged by Warwickshire and go down.

At this minute i'd take a chase of 250 with 4 sessions to do it.

Yorkshire aren't chasing 250. I'd not back us to chase 150 TBH.

What an absolutely amazing finish to the county cricket season. Absolutely unbelievable drama at the end of the very last day. You can't contrive that stuff, it's proper cricket that means so much to so many people. Sport at its very best.

Let's hope now that the counties vote against Strauss's bizarre plans to downgrade red ball cricket and give us a chance to develop proper cricketers to compete with the Aussies.

No more than Yorkshire deserved after letting so many matches drift. I make it at least four games drawn that were easier to win. And only one win all season tells its own story.

Now, if the ECB would like to hit us with our points deduction and apply it to this season's table then that would be dandy.
