It will be interesting to see how French TV can be leveraged with 2 teams now. Sky taking a feed from a local broadcaster could add to those numbers.

The list itself is not surprising, the bottom 4 English sides are the sides you'd expect (though I feel bad for KR who are both exciting and take a good away following).

I always think Hull KR home games come across well on TV too, good atmosphere and a nice balance between knackered old ground and modern stand.

Yeah it is certainly the best of that bunch

Yeah, and unlike the soulless “metal shed on industrial estate” new grounds, never looks around 1/3rd full at best

Apparently this site says I "won the day" here on 23rd Jan, 19th Jan, 9th Jan also 13th December, whatever any of that means. Anyway, 4 times in a few weeks? The forum must be going to the dogs - you people need to seriously up your game. Where's Dutoni when you need him?

That's because there's only 2/3rds of a ground to fill 😉

I'm surprised more KR away games haven't been picked tbh

The broadcasters usually 'front load' their early season schedule with teams they consider least likely to be involved in the big games at the end of the season or the relegation battle so they can focus on broadcasting those teams games later in the year.

So Leeds v Warrington perfect first game then?

So Salford, Toulouse & Wakey are the ones to watch? 😜

considering A) the weakness of the Broncos squad, and B) 90% of the stadium empty considering it would be a monday night game so very few away fans could make it, makes it not very attractive to show.

I'd expect only one Broncos game all season on Premier, and that away in a relegation 6 pointer towards the end of the season

Newish ground with knackered old stand.

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.

Completely made up facts here.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Really - over recent years the vast majority of the games broadcast at the latter part of the season have been between clubs with something still to play for (top or bottom of the table). Aside from any local derbies Sky have shown little interest in games at that time of the year for other clubs.

If there's a game between the top 4 or the bottom 2 or 3 they'll nearly always select that to broadcast rather than a game between 7th& 8th.

Given they have commitment to show each team a minimum number of games each year they take an early stab at which clubs they're least likely to be broadcasting later in the year and make sure they have those clubs games scheduled in in the early part of the season.

Your just miffed because Sky obviously think it won't be Wire's year again 😁

What you've said there has chuff all to do with 'front loading'.

So only 3 out of the first 11 rounds will not feature Leeds Rhinos and this is nothing new for whatever reason the planners consider Leeds are the darlings of the RL viewing public HOWEVER THEY ARE FARING good, bad, entertaining or just plain rubbish, without hesitation SKY are now one subscriber missing next RL season.
