We did win the equivalent friendly match last year but it wasn't played on Boxing Day. We also beat them at the Mount at the end of the season.

Dewsbury sure have a decent team for 2022 on paper,i think the difference will be that our quality players have been around(and kept rather than moved on) a few seasons now and play some great rugby,so will have jelled better, while dews will have a lot of new lads in for first time, who knows about boxing day but i feel 2022 will be good for batley.
