Trinity in after a right #### up on the last play from leeds, conversation good

0-6

Any other updates or has it remained 0-6?

And what were they talking about?

Hall and Murphy on the left centre/wing positions look like they could be real prospects for Trinity. Hall has the stature and subtle skills to make a really good play maker for Murphy on his outside who has decent levels of physicality, genuine pace and the know how to play his position properly.

They’ll need game time at SL level to act as a finishing school and drag the potential out of them.

Leeds running away with it now which was predictable when looking at the squads on duty.

Leeds 28 v 6 Wakefield

I thought they might struggle without Luke Gale....

If they’re not careful they’ll destroy the lad under the weight of expectation.

He came on for 10 minutes, passed a ball and kicked a couple of goals but other than that he wasn’t involved. Listening to the commentary you’d think we’d just seen the emergence of the new Jonathan Thurston.

His dad’s a Leeds legend and rightly so but that’s where Kevin Sinfield achievements end (on the field) so let’s not rewrite the limited levels of his career.

Very charitable of you.

And yes we have just seen the emergence of the next Jonathan Thurston 😁

Thought Wakey were the better side in the first half, despite going in 10-6 down. Leeds were passive and probably underestimated Wakey having looked at the teamsheet. Wakey showed good intent and played some enterprising footy. Gaskell kicked Leeds to death in the first half and Leeming was guilty of running the ball down dead ends as he often does.

Leeds much improved in 2nd half and showed the superiority you’d expect from them. Newman was a class above, whilst Oledski and Tetevano ran hard and made good yards. Tindall also impressive when he came on. I hope he gets more opportunity this year cos I think he’s a more dangerous winger than Briscoe or Handley.

I was very disappointed with the reffing of the ruck. It was so slow, Smith hardly gave any 6 agains (1 all game to Wakey?) and Wakey certainly made the most of it by slowing it down in the 1st half. It was disappointing because it ruined the spectacle somewhat and prevented more enterprising footy (as the defences were allowed loads of time to get set again)

Thought it was pretty even first half but has the gome opened up in second half, the difference on class out wide started to tell. Myler also linked well with new Leeds half.

From a wakey perspective Murphy, hall went well. Minns i would pass on and although trialist winger did ok , don't think we need him. Disappointed with Hood but Bowes had a great game I thought
