What is the recovery period now for covid cases, it will only be 14 days since cancelling the Boxing Day game. I hope ALL our players are staying home and nobody else goes down.

You have to isolate for 10 days if you test positive. Isolation period starts the day you took the test.

Boris changed rules People in England who have Covid can now stop self-isolating after seven days, instead of 10, if they test negative consecutively on day six and day seven.

Two negative lateral flow tests (LFT) are required to end self-isolation: the first no earlier than day six, followed by a second test result 24 hours later. If the day six test is positive, further tests can be taken on subsequent days, always adhering to the same criteria - that you must receive two negative tests, 24 hours apart, in order to end self-isolation.

And why are they using a picture of a player who left us after about 10 games?

They can use any picture they want so long as it's theirs, I suspect to add spice.

Indeed. You're also advised to do all you can to prevent any spread for the rest of the ten day period, such as work from home where possible. Clear as mud, as usual.

Looking forward to seeing the team get their first run out and how the new lads go.

Knee-deep in the Odsal mud - proper old-school RL and no doubt you will love it. A Piggy's Mate in muck, in fact!

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Cracking game tbh and well worth £15. We started slow as we seem to do at Bfd, and let two soft trys in, but came back to lead 16 - 18 at H/T. Second half we were much the better team and controlled the game. Walshaw, Brown, Ward, Campbell, Gilmore, Hooley and the rest carried on where they left off last season. The new lads looked OK, just a shame Meadows was missing. Looking forward to Widnes
