A message from Gary McKeating our Communications Manager.

‚ÄėYou are obviously noticing interviews and photographs from training have been less over the last couple of weeks.

This is due to the rise of omicron and a decision taken to further limit staff and directors at training for a limited time in the interest of safety and to try and ensure training and planning for the season is not impacted by the dramatic rise in infections. The vast majority of the country is being affected and having to reduce activity so please bear with us and your understanding   would be appreciated. I’ll be looking to do an interview with Chris today to give an update and a preview.

Thanks for the update Gary , very sensible decision to take, UTT ūüĒĶ‚ö™

Just looking at the squad for tomorrow and I know it's early days and covid is around but we don't seem to have a recognised prop in the squad Hope it's due to covid and not due to injury

You don’t play us till next week pal? Your team Haven have a week off this week.

If there are no scrums why would you need a prop?

Obviously CT doesn't think so

Got away with it in C1 to an extent. Won't  get away with it in the championship.  Fingers crossed theres still something in the pipeline regarding props.

Does anyone know if you can pay on the gate tomorrow

You can pay on the gate with cash (or card at the main entrance) and there is a free £5 voucher for all paying customers to spend on food or drink for those entering before 2pm.

Adults £12, Concessions £10 and children free

Good luck to the town squad today, especially those making their debuts, everyone knows this season will be tough but I'm sure this squad will improve and develop each week

Barrow have signed Ethan Kelly from Millom on a one year deal
