Dave W Posted January 6, 2022 Share Posted January 6, 2022 The last time I saw Blackpool play was against my team Barrow at Lytham RU in 2007 and we got walloped, effectively scuppering our promotion chances that year. I have it my head that the local businessman who Les Dawson's widow, Tracey, subsequently married had something to do with that particular revival of the Blackpool RL name. Tracey and Mo from the Roly Polys were helping out with the fundraising, selling raffle tickets outside the clubhouse behind the sticks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
