The potential is huge. The thing is basic equipment and getting them playing young enough to have a career opportunity in the game.

The article states there are 1800 active players in Ghana. Could that be true?? That's approx. 90 teams! More than Wales, Scotland and Ireland combined!

The article said 1,800 men and women over ten clubs. That would be 180 per club. Maybe that shows those wanting to play and may do so on occasion but lack of kit may mean some of that is latent interest.
