The Fev/Wakey game has been very entertaining.

I'm not sure Willie Poching will agree, he's probably had his head in his hands for most of the game.

Fev 22 Wakey 18, full tarm.

Costly friendly for Wakey with Craig Copczak off injured and didn't return, hope he's okay.

Kopzcak's a Fev player. 😉 Agreed he'll be a loss for us if out for any period of time.

Decent for us in spells, I'd be broadly happy with that as a performance for a pre season runout. Wakey look poor, and on that showing it's going to be a long season for them.

Assume Wakey have been playing mix and match this weekend?

Pretty much first choice team at Fev this afternoon, so I'd assume reseves/academy v Oldham last night.

Thought Wakefield looked cumbersome and off the pace today, and that Fev were well worth the win.

Real contrast to watching Castleford at York last week, where Cas's top line shredded the Knights' defence in the 1st half with sharp play-the-balls, injections of pace and good handling.....

Only a couple of notable first teamers missing by the looks of that. Good win for Fev.

For those who missed it tries at FEV

Thanks for that, my main observation from those "Trylights" is the extremely poor one in one tackling by both teams, Wakefield will be facing better players than Fev put out there in the season, Fev not so much but it must be a concern for both coaches.

Not for FEV  H we stood up and tackled wakey out of the game and it was only the last try after four back to back sets did we drop off the tackle for most  of game wakey didn't look like scoring
