Rochdale's Joe Taira sees red, in more than one sense!

I can't believe he got sent off for that. His arm wasn't tucked and there was no rotation of his torso which are the two indicators of a shoulder charge, and it didn't hit his head - that's just a hard tackle.

It wasn't a shoulder charge it was arm to head.

As much as it's nice hearing about the original Midlands Hurricanes Regional Academy, the way it's being discussed feels like it's implied there's a real link between the two Midlands Hurricanes. Not sure if that is intentional or not.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that at all

Good effort from the Hurricanes and from Rochdale. Hurricanes just couldn't take our chances and a little rusty in defence at times. It bodes pretty well for the season and with some players to come back from injury we'll be a match for anyone in the league (especially at home)

Certainly, as the first game with the next round at stake and the live draws for the next two rounds at Hornets, 6pm Tuesday night on BBCSport.   Hornets had to contend with a first half yellow and a second half red, but scored 7 touchdowns.

Seems that there are some new offences - may become clearer to coaches, players and supporters and refs as time unfolds!   🤔😎

WWR have 8 weeks until their next fixture (Swinton away) to sort something out, but I can't say that I'm that optimistic.

Well I can’t do training nights but I would be available weekends.
