Dave T
Do we have numbers for all 4 playoff games? Tbh, after watching all four of them, I though they came across pretty well. The presence of noisy away fans in all four games added to the atmosphere on TV, and I assume in the grounds too. I'm not sure why some people like to make out away fans aren't important.

That is often the strawman posited by those who think games without thousands of away fans spell financial ruin.

It is regularly posted and then people quote things like games against London and French clubs where clubs have given tickets away. And then when challenged people claim it was never said and its a strawman. Edited September 17, 2022 by Dave T

I still think that can be Toulouse who pulled in 5k with their covid hit nightmare and got 9k for what should’ve been a Saturday game. Ideally another one in the UK also. But hard to see in current state anyone, maybe Leigh having an awesome start next year might see it happen.

Unfortunately, no one wants to buy it, at any price. When he is no longer around, neither will be London. So get your criticism in now, you wont be able to in the future. It's staggering that so many people with neither knowledge or information (and certainly no money) just love to criticise others. Buy what? it owns nothing. That´s the problem that no purchase or part purchase of any stadium took place over the last two decades and now it would almost be impossible. You wouldn´t buy Broncos, you´d just start again. In terms of Sports teams you could get a team in Wales for half, hell Plymouth with 250,000 population would be more viable for grabbing a rugby ground. Or grabbing millmoor and cleaning it up at half the cost right in the heartlands with part time players and 2 local derbies to sell plus Leeds if you ever got there. Probably because it might show that we have several clubs who could step up to SL and add value whereas Union in this country bar I´d say plymouth albion and Brum if they ever got a stadium is probably hit its limit. I’m not saying that would be easy, or even possible, but they’re not hemmed in like Leigh are.
