Rangi Chase’s latest drug ban

Why was the ban so short particularly for a second offence?

Rochdale's former Man of Steel Rangi Chase is the first rugby league player to undergo a UK Anti-Doping 'Substance of Abuse' treatment programme and receive a reduced one-month ban.

The 35-year-old has now served the ban, which was triggered by traces of benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, in a test last September.

Chase admitted the charge and attended a five-day residential scheme.

Cocaine is not performance enhancing? Well not for rugby anyway

Debatable.

Some would think alcohol isn’t a performance enhancing drug, but it is outlawed in elite Snooker for very good reasons.

Can't see straight when you're ######?

Haha, good thinking but no.

As a depressant, it is deemed to give players an advantage when striking the cue ball.

A player that has played for 10 teams in a 15 year career is a sign.

When each team is progressively further down the ladder its another sign.

How did he get eight Caps for England........?

He came from a troubled upbringing but if he could have risen above that he could have had the game at his feet.
