SL v Championship, Saturday afternoon in the warmth of the Sud de France v Monday night in a cold rainswept NW England, all about home fans as very few away fans,  frankly your point carries no weight.

Are you confident that Leigh will get 9000 fans in to watch the semi final of the championship play offs this season like Toulouse did if the weather is nice? Frankly, my point carries weight

It is what it is Harry , I genuinely don't think it makes a difference , stated it at the time , Monday night doesn't suit Leigh

Will any Leigh posters who mocked Toulouse attendance please stand up lol, I saw the posts. Though to be fair it was only some individuals that were trying to be negative about the foreigners, other Leigh fans were supportive

Not a great turnout tonight.

Can’t wait for Degsy’s next social media rant on how Leigh fans are not worthy of his greatness.

Enough of this.  Leigh last time in pre covid SL averaged 6000.  Toulouse still had Covid restrictions.  Bulls are dying outside SL in our old ground.

There's room for both Toulouse and Leigh in SL with a 14 team system.  Both teams would thrive.  Sick of this false dichotomy.

It's not good is it shrop , a similar number from Bradford tonight as we saw from Haven , don't know the answer 🙁

Just got back. It was flipping freezing and many Bulls fans will have chosen to watch on the telly.

As others have probably noted:

 - most of our team will have had work this morning; Leigh were much the fitter team

 - we have decent front row forwards but are lightweight at second row and loose forward

 - we have two good wingers but they rarely get a pass.

 - we desperately need a change of tactics

 - the score didn't reflect the flow of the game but refected that our players were shoddy in the last twenty minutes.

 - Leigh are a typical promotion team ... the players' reward for gaining it will be putting  half of them out of a job. That's not damning them with faint praise; they were excellent in the second half but the gulf between Championship and Superleague is very wide.

Still obsessed I see, Bless 🙄  Why don't you comment on the actual game, Leigh were average but still won 38-4, and missed 5 conversions.

We got 11000 in whilst in the 8’s v Batley, that was a semi final that year

Another expansionist.

Another few drubbings and Toulouse will soon be hovering around the 1000 mark (will still announce 5000 though)

In seriousness, 2700 or so is not a great attendance, but Mondays are not great either.

I can see the CC game v Widnes be less than 3k too unfortunately.

this threads really funny like leon pryce's commentry.he said patton controlled the game.bradford had a couple of line breaks all game.foggin johnston n gill were good all game apart from that nothing.fev n leigh will fight this out this season.barrow widnes will all drop away as the pitches become firmer.thought norman was head n shoulders above everyone tonight.hope all you leyther haters have a good time bringing up old stories this season.like last year there are 2 teams who are super league worthy i wish it was more but until we have 20 full time teams this will carry on

Couple of things Harry. It was apparently "freezing" in Toulouse on Saturday night.  The kick and clappers were also playing Ireland at the same time.

It was 6500 average in '17 Salop.

I dont think there is one anymore bar a New ground which holds 6k and 3g pitch with room to put stands behind the sticks if they reach SL.  Grounds have to generate you rev,  not lose it.

Had alot of momentum season we got bk to champ but then end of season Chalmers nonsense hurt.

Not a criticism of those that travelled or didn't , yes the Bulls need an LSV , but as you put , stadiums need to generate , not cost , similar but smaller issue for us , the LSV only starts to work for us in SL
