RogerT
Hi there bravehearts, who's for the mud bath again this week. All being well I'm there. Mr Thaler is in charge.
phildog
Quite honestly I can't see the pitch passing a fitness test after continued rain and 2 storms. I don't really want to see another game where conditions can dictate a result.
RogerT
Blinking heck we have stood in worse conditions, but we will see. By the way did you manage to get the Admin.

ernieone
Yes conditions have been far worse but with summer rugby (ha ha) it is expected that the pitches would be better. Who looks after the pitch since Jim retired? We have a exciting squad of players it is a shame seeing them hardly being able to stand up never mind run in the conditions. It also seemed to affect the refs vision around the try line 1950s Gallant Youth, 2000 Bulldog

I think there’ll be many games cancelled this weekend due to the weather.

The scrim reaper
Just heard game is off waterlogged pitch, maybe the navy should get a battleship up here while they can, they will probably need the extra fire power next week!

Kevin Nicholas
The attendance at the York game was 971 for anyone who wants to know. I was asked once shortly after the match by one journalist and i was doing other things and also at the time didn’t know. I was never asked again and presumably neither was anyone else at the Club. Anyway people now know. It was disappointing as we expected many more than that but the weather played a big part in reducing the gate.

spanishknight
971 was a very poor crowd to say you were unbeaten, understand York brought about 250/ 270.
