Anyone any notion why Leigh are at a 13:45 K.O.? I didn't know it was at this time till I saw this thread and scouring the web I am still non the wiser.

Manchester derby ?. Late function at stadium ?. They are the only things I can think of.

Pretty sure I saw an announcement that Leigh had brought it forward to avoid clashing with Man City v Man Utd on telly. Leigh's website seems to have been broken for months though, so it makes sense you can't find owt on the web.

York only away winners.

Not fancy Batley ?. 3 of us have gone for the exact same score in the Leigh match. I was going to go for, Newcastle 4. Because Leigh keep restricting their opposition to that number.

Are Newcastle fielding their strongest available team at Leigh tomorrow, or sending a bunch of kids as they did at York last week?

PS is Josh Woods playing.

We've gone with our strongest possible squad given injury and suspension. Brad Day is in the squad for the first time since joining following an injury lay off.

Bulls vs Batley is going to be interesting.

We've got something close to our full team out tomorrow plus two decent quality additions from Leeds (not that I'm a fan of DR but that's another argument)

If we don't beat Batley - and frankly I'm not confident - then we're 1 from 4 and struggling at the wrong end of the table.

I guess it will give us an indication of 'where we are', as they say.

Is it because the train from Newcastle gets into Leigh at 13.30?

Fax will be joining Bradford if that happens. We will be 1 win from 5 after our next 2 games. Im still pretty confident of making the top 4 for the moment though even if that does happen.
