Hobbies & Passions

Recommended Posts

I wondered what all our non sport related hobbies, interests and passions are. For me it is photography, art and making music. Ever since being a kid I was one of those that asked for cameras instead of bikes etc.
I have always had a passion for creativity, below are links to my photography and music "portfolios"

I've always been very faddy, as a result I'm very much a jack of all trades master of none. I tend to rotate between a few hobbies:

Language learning

Piano

Running

Darts

Brewing

I never do them long enough to get good at any of them. I'm currently at the beginning of piano again.

I'm on the cusp of finally getting my new place sorted out after separating from the ex, so looking forward to getting back into some archaeology volunteering over here, maybe a bit of model kit building.  Thinking about some 3D printing projects too.

Well, that told me.  Just reading through everyone's hobbies/interests and said to the wife "You know, I'm looking at the hobbies the people on my rugby website have, and realised I don't really have any."

Her "What about your photography"

Me "Well yes there is that."

Her "And you are always reading those history books."

Me "Yes, I always have a book on the go."

Her "You spend time fiddling about on the computer."

Me "Yes, I do."

Her "And you are always in the garden pottering about."

Me "Yes, I like my gardening."

Her "And you are on the committee of the rugby club."

Me "Ok, I get what you are saying."

Her " And you go to most of their games"

Me "Oh for goodness sake woman, shut up"

Jam Eater  1.(noun. jam eeter) A Resident of Whitehaven or Workington. Offensive.  It is now a term of abuse that both towns of West Cumbria use for each other especially at Workington/Whitehaven rugby league derby matches.
